Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Anthracite Group LLC ("we," "us") collects through this website, how we use and protect it, and the rights you may have. Anthracite Group LLC is the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us at [email protected].

1. Information we collect

  • What you send us. Through our contact form: your name, email address, whether you are a seller, buyer, or other, your state, and your message. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write.
  • Technical information. Our systems record your IP address, the date and time of your request, and basic request details such as the pages you visit and your browser type. We use this to run and secure the site and prevent abuse.
  • Cookies. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies and we do not track you across other websites. Our service providers may use cookies or similar technology that is strictly necessary to protect the site from abuse and deliver it to you.
  • We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you do not include it in your message.

2. How we use your information, and our legal bases

  • To respond to your message and discuss possible transactions. (Taking steps at your request before entering a contract; our legitimate interests in running our business.)
  • To keep records of our communications. (Our legitimate interests; legal obligations.)
  • To secure the site, prevent spam and abuse, and comply with the law. (Our legitimate interests; legal obligations.)
  • To send you information you ask for, or marketing you agree to receive. (Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.)

We do not make decisions about you using automated processing that has legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use your information for marketing unless you ask us to or agree to it. Any marketing email we send will include a way to unsubscribe.

3. Who we share it with

  • Service providers that help us host, secure, and operate our website and email. They may process information only on our behalf and under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or those of others.
  • Business changes. If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. International transfers.

We are based in the United States and process information there. If you contact us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may not offer the same level of data protection as your country. Where the law requires, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, or on your consent when you submit your information.

5. How long we keep it.

We keep contact messages for 24 months after our last communication with you, then delete or anonymize them, unless the law or an active transaction requires us to keep them longer. Technical logs are kept for a shorter period needed for security.

6. Security.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

7. Your rights

Everyone. You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it by emailing [email protected].

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland (GDPR and UK GDPR). You have the right to access your personal data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to our processing; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing done before you withdrew. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion and correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. In the past 12 months we have collected identifiers (such as name, email address, and IP address) and internet activity (such as server logs) for the purposes above. We have not sold or shared personal information.

If you live in another U.S. state with a privacy law (for example Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and others). You may have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. We do not engage in those activities. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will reply within the time the law requires.

Elsewhere. If the law where you live gives you other rights over your personal information, such as in Canada or Australia, we will honor them.

How to make a request.

Email [email protected] with your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We respond within the time the law requires (generally 30 to 45 days) and do not charge a fee unless a request is clearly excessive.

8. Do Not Track and opt-out signals.

We do not track visitors across websites. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of, and we honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.

9. Children.

This website is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

10. Changes.

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed, and we will post material changes on this page.
